I was on my annual camping trip with
my family. We were camping in the same spot we have been since I was 5. I knew
this place like the back of my hand, or so I thought I did. I was going on my
routine night hike with my cousin Shaye. We were on the paved trail and we
turned off onto one of the side trails we always took. Shaye wanted to go to
the waterfall and watch the stars. We I knew we just had to go a little further
down the trail and then take a right at the old Pine tree. After that we had to
take a left at the old Willow. We took a right at the Pine and continued
straight but the Willow never came. I looked around to see if I could see it
anywhere but it was not in sight. Shaye and I tried our phones for service but
did not have any service. Making Shaye and I stranded in the woods at night. A
little while later, after shouting for help we heard rustling in the bushes.
Since I was the older one I told her to wait where were while I went and
checked it out. Once I got over to the bushes it smelt like fish. I was
positive there was no water sources this close for it to smell fishy. I was
pulled out of my thoughts by a scream which just happened to be the one of
Shaye. I turned around with a scream myself. In front of me was a Shark, just
floating in the air. At this point I knew it was the end, so I ran. I had a
good lead, but when I looked back to see where it was I didn’t realize I was
running into another ones mouth and everything went black.
The sentence that starts with "we I knew we" is a little confusing I think you had one to many we's.
ReplyDeleteI like your story though kind of how my shark journal ended.
